The modern neuroclectrical physiology indicates that there are certain patterns in neural spike train, which appear more frequently than others. There favored patterns may related to the mechanism of neural information processing in central nervous system. In this paper, the quantized Monte Carlo method and template method which are used in favored pattern recognition are described, The Monte Carlo method determines favored patterns or the possible favored patterns. The template method is used for choosing the favored patterns from the candidates and counting the number of the patterns in the spik train. This work will be pursued for extracting the patterns in some complicated spilt train with very different discharge cycles.

Based on the V-I characteristics of the mutual inductance branch, the loop equations of the mutual inductance circuit with the branch consisted of ideal current source along are derived. The number of the loop equations equals the number of the independent loop minus the numher of the branch consisted of ideal current source alone. The amount of work done for deriving the loop equations is the same as that for the circuit without mutual inductance. As compared with general node approach, presented method needs not use the inverse matrix of inductance. And in general, the mumber of the loop equations derived by this method is less than that derived by use of the modified node approach.

DOI:
The electrical conductivity of LPCVD SIPOS films has been measured to study the electrical properties cf SIPOS. The results show that the electrical properties of SIPOS depend on both oxygen contents and anealing processes. The electrical conductivity dccreases while the oxygen content in SIPOS increases. The temperature dependence nf the electrical conductivity of SIPOS during anealing shows that there are two kinds of conduction mechanisms, that is, conductivities of SIPOS are concerned in the reaction of Si-O bonds andthe recrystallization of SIPOS during low temperature(<500℃) and high temperature(>900℃) anealing, respectively. In addition, the doping effect on the conductivity of SIPOS has been studied. It has been observed that doping made the increase of conductivity in SIPOS, but the oxygen contents apparently suppressed the increase of conductivity in doped-SIPOS.

DOI:
A new numerical method for electromagnetic scattering by two-di-mensional bodies is presented. Radietion boundary condition (RBC) is applied to confint electromagnetic scanering problem in infinite spice to finite space. Coupled with RBC and cylinder surface boundary condition, Helmboltz equation in the finite region is solved numrically by the finite difference method. Thus the distribution of induced surface carrents on perfect conducting cylinder and near ficlds can be obtained. Computational results for both polarizations of cirrular, elliptical and square by the eigenfunction expansion method or moment method and much better than the results of OSRC method. This method may be a valid alternative to the traditional analytical and numerical methods.

DOI:
A probe-hole field emission microscope system controlled by the Apple H computer has been developed and operated successfully for measuring work function of single crystal plane. The detection screcn, the phototube and the ampli-fier are combined for measuring the probe-hole current. The high voltage on viewing screen is adjusted by using a D/A converter. The total current and the probe-hole current are acquired by using an A/D converter. After calibrating, the programs in BASIC used for processing above data and the parameters of F-N plots are given. Then the work function can be calculated, for example, the work functions on the clean W(100) and W(111) planes are 4.67 eV and 4.45 eV respectively.

A suspension superconducting thin film microwave low-pass filter was developed by using GBCO film on Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia (YSZ) Substrate. The insertion losses measured at 77K are 0.326dB, 0.507dB, 1.393dB in the frequency band of 0-2 GHz, 0-4 GHz, 0-6 GHz respectively. Experimental results show that the suspension microstrip circuits suit to develop microwave passive components made from high Tc superconducting films with high dielectric constant substrates.

The forward transfer conductance of neuronal electrotonic synapse is described. The presynaptic membrane fires an action potential via superthreshold stimulation, and the postsynaptie membrane can directly be excited by electrotonus with the action potential. The synaptic membrane is a rectificr, and the coupling conductances will change with time.
