Abstract In this paper, LFM signal reconnaissance theory based on fractional Fourier transform is discussed firstly. Compared with bilinear transform, the fractional Fourier transform is a linear operator and it can eliminate the intercross terms. Hence, it has better detection capability in severe electronic warfare environment. And then variable window search peak algorithm is presented. The simulation results validate the effectiveness of this algorithm.
