Abstract The Corner Turn Memory（CTM） for real time imaging of the Synthetic Aperture Radar（SAR）is presented in this paper. Two types of structure of CTM： the three-frame and the two-frame are discussed, of which the merits and flaws are compared. The representative application of the two-frame CTM is introduced predominantly, of which the implementation in circuit and the result are given with the Double Data Rate Synchronous Dynamic RAM（DDR SDRAM）served as the main memory.
