Abstract People can use measuring information provided by guider to establish optimal burst control algorithm in order to realize optimal burst. It is an important direction of burst control technology of missile. The optimal burst algorithm includes the estimation of time-to-go, miss distance and miss angle. In order to improve estimation accuracy and satisfy application request, it is important to filter measuring information provided by guider. The paper studied the application of converted measuring Kalman filter in parameters estimation of burst control. The algorithm filtered the information which was converted from polar coordinates to rectangle coordinates. At the same time, it eliminated the divergence caused by coordinate transform. Simulation results indicate that the application of this algorithm improved the estimation accuracy of burst control.
