Abstract A block transmission scheme with frequency domain pilots is proposed. Algorithms with low complexity are proposed too, which include channel estimation and equalization algorithm. Compared with the existed block transmission scheme with PN pilots, it is proved by simulations that the block transmission scheme with frequency domain pilots achieves reducing complexity without loss of BER performance.
