Abstract In this paper, a high performance frequency domain cancellation algorithm is presented to suppress the noise amplitude modulation interference. By the logarithm transform, the carrier frequency and initial phase of the jamming signal are estimated from the imaginary part of the transformed echo signal including jamming, and then, the echo signal is demodulated with the estimated jamming carrier frequency. Finally, the jamming may be suppressed with frequency domain cancellation. Simulation shows that the proposed method has a low computational cost and high performance.
