Abstract There exist Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) phenomena when OFDM signals are transmitted through time-varying fading channels. The performance of communication systems also decreases. Based on decomposing of time-varying fading channels, the system can be treated as data transmitting through a discrete-time white noise filter model channel. The Viterbi algorithm is used to receive the signal. In this way, the ICI and “error floor” in traditional OFDM system are removed, and the performance is enhanced.
