Abstract A new QoS routing algorithm for mobile Ad hoc networks, Fuzzy Logic QoS Dynamic Source Routing (FLQDSR), is proposed in this paper. The idea of FLQDSR starts from the fuzzy theory. It integrates the multiple QoS parameters of traffic into one request that is represented by Language variable through integrated fuzzy judgment. Based on the multiple paths routing algorithm which is modified the Dynamic Source Routing (DSR), FLQDSR compares the integrated QoS fuzzy value of each path and selects the most appropriate one according to the fuzzy rules. Simulation results show that FLQDSR can tolerate the imprecise information which is caused by the dynamic network topology well while supporting QoS function.
