Abstract Carrier Interferometry (CI) codes may be introduced to Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems to improve BER performance and to eliminate the Peak-to-Average Power Ratio (PAPR) problem. This paper demonstrates mathematically that CI/OFDM system is identical to existing Single Carrier transmission with Frequency Domain Equalization (SC/FDE).
