Abstract Usually the sensor colored noise is modeled as an AutoregRessive (AR) process. This paper proposes six multisensor measurement fusion algorithms by generalizing the single sensor filtering methods with colored noise. The performance of the algorithms, such as estimation accuracy, computation cost and flexibility is compared by covariance analysis technique and two simulation examples. Some conclusions are valuable to choose algorithm in the engineering applications.
