Abstract The high-resolution eigenstructure-based DOA estimation methods, such as MUSIC algorithm, have an excellent performance in ideal cases. Their performance is susceptible to noise perturbation and array error and degrade significantly when array is with error. An blind calibration method MUSIC-based is present in this paper. It need only one RF signal generator placed in the far-field without knowledge of DOA of incidence signal. Computer simulations illustrate that the method is effective and the calibration result is perfect.
