Abstract A fining algorithm of correlation peak is proposed for measuring group delay of Radio Frequency (RF) systems to improve the measurement precision. This algorithm requires lower sampling rate by interpolating the signals before correlation operations, and obtains higher measurement precision than classic methods. Wavelet de-noising is also introduced to enhance the robustness under low Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR). Simulations based on matlab show that the proposed method can obtain the delay part less than the sampling interval more precisely, and prove its effectiveness and advantages.
