Abstract The low-frequency SAR is always easily interfered by other wireless services such as mobile communications, television, which operate in the same band. According to the narrow band of the Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) signals, this paper proposes a RFI suppression method based on subband space projection filtering. This method sorts and recognizes the interfered subband first and then suppresses the RFI with the space projection filtering. The proposed method can suppress the RFI effectively. Both the simulation and experimental results are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
