Abstract Aiming at the defects of large computational loads and slow convergence speed of Time diversity fractionally spaced Decision feedback blind equalization algorithm (TD), on the basis of defining spline function Renyi entropy, Spline function Renyi entropy Time diversity Decision feedback blind equalization algorithm based on Wavelet transform (STDW) is proposed. In the proposed algorithm, spline function Renyi entropy is defined and used as the cost function to update the weight vector, fractionally spaced equalizer is employed to obtain more detailed channel information, and orthogonal wavelet transform is used to reduce the autocorrelation of the input signals in order to speed up the convergence rate, as well as time diversity technique and decision feedback filter are utilized to reduce the influence of multi-path fading channels on communication quality. Simulation experiments with underwater acoustic channel have verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
