Abstract The Channel State Information (CSI) is not taken into consideration in Multi-Hop Alamouti Amplify and Forward (AAF-MH) cooperation protocol. For this issue, Multi-Hop Alamouti Amplify and Forward with Phase Rotation (AAF-MH-PR) cooperative scheme is proposed, in which the effective channel matrix is changed by applying a proper rotation at transmitted signals of partial relay. Theoretical analysis shows that the reliability of AAF-MH-PR is significantly better than that of AAF-MH. Simulation demonstrats the validity of theoretical analysis and the proposed scheme provides a 5 dB gain at a Symbol Error Rate (SER) of 10-5 over AAF-MH with only 1 bit feedback amount.
