Digital Watermarking with Authentication for Vector Maps |

Abstract It is important to identify the source or owner after the vector map is leaked in some key application areas. In this paper proposed scheme, the characteristics of the map owner’s fingerprint can be extracted and converted into the binary character string as the watermark; and then the watermark will be embedded into the object definition blocks in the attribute file; In any object definition block, there is a character as the ending indicator followed the definition information of the object, the data after the ending character can not be processed or displayed by any tools. Experiments show that the algorithm has better robustness; The watermark can be embedded or extracted nondestructively to the vector map, the value of NC coefficient is more than 97%, as the factor of fingerprint matching algorithm, the accuracy of authentication is more than 80%.
