Abstract On the basis of the spectral domain immittance approach and wavematrix technique, an efficient numerical method for analyzing multi-layer microstrip antennas is presented. The formulas are simple and easy to be programmed. Numerical results are in good agreeement with experimental results, including those of other authors.
