Abstract A new algorithm is proposed for blind separation of two MPSK mixture signals obtained by a single- channel receiver. The proposed algorithm is based on optimal Bayesian Estimation criteria, and implemented via the particle filtering that is used to sequentially estimate the transmitted symbols and parameters. By over-sampling, more information of received signal waveform is utilized, so better noise suppression is achieved. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can obviously improve the Bit Error Rate (BER) performance in noise environment. The performance limit of the proposed algorithm is also analyzed from the perspective of Maximum Likelihood criteria.
