Abstract A QoS guaranteed dynamic resource allocation algorithm for downlink MIMO-OFDM systems is proposed based on the research on the issue of resource allocation in multiuser MIMO-OFDM systems. The proposed algorithm utilizes efficiently the spatio-frequency and power resources by taking full advantage of the multiuser diversity under the condition that the QoS requirements are guaranteed. So the system throughput is enhanced significantly. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme has good performance and can effectively enhance the system throughput.
