Abstract Aiming at the problem of communication signal blind separation in the noisy circumstance, a Blind Source Separation(BSS)algorithm in the case of noise is presented which combined the robust whitening algorithm and Joint Approximate Diagonalization (JAD) of the fourth order cumulant matrix and has good separation performance. Simulation results show that the separation performance of the algorithm proposed in the paper is greatly improved upon the normal fourth order cumulant matrix JAD algorithm, and the Interference-Signal-Ratio (ISR) can be decreased 10dB without increasing much too computation quantity.
