Abstract In this paper, the effect of radome on antenna radiation with the spectral-domain approach is analyzed. Radiated pattern of antenna with radome is calculated, and the conclusion is got that the experimental results agree with the calculated. The quantitative analysis of the effect of radome on antenna radiated pattern is given and provide valuable basis for the design of antenna and radome.
