Abstract Considering the effect of the logitudinal uniform magnetic field, the microwave radiation produced by the interaction of a relativistic electron beam with a annular plasma is examined by use of the liner theory. In this paper the "applied field" approach is used to derive the dispersion relationship. Analyzed the different plasma density, position, thickness, and field intensity influence to the beam-wave interactions in plasma Cerenkov maser. Finally, the curves and dispersion relationships about every parameter to influence the increase rates of linear space are given out.
