Abstract In this paper, chaotic synchronization in a coupled system of neuron model with discrete time delay is studied. A chaotic system of neuron model with discrete time delay is sensitive to the continuous initial function. For arbitrary activate function, a general condition for strong chaotic synchronization are derived by using analytic method.
