Abstract In this paper, the divergence characterization of false location in moving passive location system is analysised. Conclusion that false location is kind of nonstationary random of mean value with trend is presented. A novel method for false location identification based on nonstationary verification is brought forward. Simulations prove the algorithm valid even in the high noisy environment.
