Abstract Based on the side-looking SAR mode of distributed satellites SAR system, this paper gives the mathematical model of radar echo signal of distributed satellite SAR, and proposes a detecting and imaging algorithm of the moving targets with low velocity by suppressing the ground clutters. The results of theory analysis and simulation show that the algorithm can suppress the ground clutters efficiently, and enhance the detecting ranges of moving targets.
