Abstract In this paper, a novel packet scheduling algorithm is proposed for the video traffic in the wireless Ad hoc network. This algorithm considers the special requirements of video traffic, process every packet of video data flow individually and then distributes them to specific path according to the result of computation. This algorithm voids packet reordering on the receiver, reduces significantly the delay on the receiver and the buffer requirement. The simulation results demonstrate the correctness of the algorithm.
