Abstract This paper studies the imaging of moving target in the situation of the bistatic synthetic aperture radar with stationary transmitter. The WVD-Radon method is used to estimate the Doppler frequency parameter of the moving target, and to adjust the parameter of the imaging and the motion compensation to get better imaging result. The results of computer simulation are given to demonstrate that the conclusion of the paper is correct.
