Abstract A novel fast phase compensation approach based on two-dimensional minimal image entropy is presented in this paper for Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar(ISAR) imaging. Compared with the other methods, the proposed approach has better effect of autofocusing, better computation efficiency, global minimal entropy as well as explicit expression applied easily, and these advantages are demonstrated by the analysis and data processing results.
