Abstract:A new preconditioning method based on "neighbor element" which has distinct physical background is presented in this paper. The dominant information of impedance matrix is fully considered in the neighbor element preconditioner. The preconditioner is generated from the target’s "geometry structure " and not from the "matrix element", which assured the computational complexity for generating the preconditioner is only O(N). This preconditioning method combined with conjugate-gradient method is used to solve the integral-equations generated from a base station antenna with MoM method in this paper. Numerical results are presented to demonstrate the validity of this method.
