Abstract:Based on the basic group-based MAximum a Posterior(MAP) detector, a novel detection scheme is proposed that uses a posterior information from the detected groups instead of a priori information from the decoder. The new scheme can improve the estimation precision of the interference. Further an iterative detector that uses a posterior information from last detection is presented. The iterative detector can fully use the output information from the detector and have a performance improvement further. Simulation results show that the new detectors have a significant performance gain over basic group-based MAP algorithm in uncoded systems and have a faster convergence in coded systems.
