Abstract:In this paper Genetic Algorithms(GA) are applied to antenna pattern synthesis according to ambiguity depressing in spaceborne SAR. The ambiguity of spaceborne SAR is regarded as the objective function, and the beamwidth and the side lobe level of the antenna pattern are regarded as the constraints. The simulation results show that the ambiguity is depressed while the beamwidth and the side lobe level are well controlled via this method, which is quite helpful to spaceborne SAR system designing.
