Abstract:A new periodic correlation signal is presented, which is the perfect ternary sequence pair. The definitions of the perfect ternary sequence pair and its transformation properties are presented. A method for constructing the perfect ternary sequence pairs taking advantage of pseudorandom binary sequence, perfect binary sequence pair and the perfect punctured binary sequence pair is presented by us. As a result, it indicates that the method is handy and flexible. With this method more perfect signals could be obtained. These signals enrich the theory of sequence pair perfect discrete correlated signals.
