Signal Analysis and Motion Compensation of SAR Data with Diving Acceleration

Abstract:This paper concerns the issue of signal characteristic of side-looking SAR during its diving flight. The geometric and target range expression are built and Doppler parameter variation with operation time is analysed. The corresponding azimuth match filtering function and phase error correction factor based on Doppler parameter are provided for motion compensation. The validity and feasibility of the method is demonstrated by the simulation.
