Abstract:In this paper, a new dielectric layer PBG structures in waveguide is introduced, and numerical analysis to its stop-band characteristic is finished. The design of PBG structures and the effect of the size of period, the number of periods, the size of unit etc. are presented. And the conclusion is presented too. It is easy to design and manufacture waveguide filter using dielectric layer PBG structures.
