Abstract:Power control and multiuser detection are two ways to cope with Multiple Access Interference (MAI) and near-far effect. This paper proposed a new scheme for DS-CDMA system combined power control and multiuser detection. This scheme can effectively mitigate interference of other users, and minimize the total transmit power under the constraint that all the users achieve the requisition of Signal-to-Interference Ratio(SIR), also the convergence of the SIRs to the common target SIR rapidly.
